Activision’s Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III is hitting Game Pass for Console, PC Game Pass and Game Pass Ultimate today. Ahead of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, subscribers can get their hands on one of the biggest Call of Duty games of this generation.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III, developed by Infinity Ward and countless support studios, is the current game in the franchise to be supported. Released on November 10, 2023, the game offers a sizeable multiplayer suite, the first open-world Zombies experience, and a bite-sized yet bombastic campaign.
The multiplayer offering of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III supports each and every classic map of the original 2009 Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II. With new gameplay mechanics and a polished engine, this nostalgic trip down memory land feels punchy yet rewards. There are also the large-scale Invasion and Ground War maps to discover.
Taking place on the same Urzikstan map as Call of Duty: Warzone, the Zombies mode Operation: Deadbolt is an open-world experience. Instead of a strategic survival game, Operation: Deadbolt incorporates some deep extraction-based mechanics. Complete contracts, raid strongholds, and explore the centre of the map for some challenging encounters.
The game’s story follows Captain Price, Ghost and other Task Force 141 members on the hunt for series villain Vladimir Makarov. As a direct continuation of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II, players will take the fight across the globe.

Recently, Microsoft announced that the price of Game Pass Ultimate will increase from $18.99 to $22.99 in Canada. A new tier dubbed Xbox Game Pass Standard will be available in September, offering a cheaper price point without access to first-party titles.
