Threads Rolling Out Ability to Created Dedicated Feeds on iOS, Similar to Web Experience

Threads now supports the ability to create dedicated feeds, similar to TweetDeck, on iOS. In a new update that’s rolling out to users, Threads is enabling users to bookmark and save search results to the Home tab.
On the web, Threads has been continuing to support a similar TweetDeck-like feature. Users can pin multiple columns to the web view on the desktop, allowing various topics and search results to be easily accessible. Now, as first reported by MacRumors, similar support is rolling out on iOS.
Once made available, iOS users can search for a topic or subject that interests them. Users can then pin the feed to their Home tab. Afterwards, they can easily navigate between feeds on the Home tab. Users can swap between ‘Following’, ‘Liked’, ‘Saved’ and any of their added feeds. You can also edit your feeds and get rid of any that you’d like at any time.
The ability to customize feeds and pinned columns on the web first began rolling out earlier this year. In May, the company began testing the ability to add separate columns for favourite searches, tags, accounts, saved posts, and notifications.
It’s recommended that users ensure they have installed the latest software update. As the update is rolling out regionally, you may want to check periodically throughout the day. Once available, install the update and restart the app. Anecdotally, as of the time of writing, the latest update isn’t available on my iPhone. However, other users are beginning to receive the update.
