A reliable source on Weibo, known as “Fixed focus digital,” has leaked that the iPhone 16 Pro Max will sport a colour reminiscent of bronze. The frame of the device is expected to have a titanium-like appearance, enhancing its sophisticated look.

Previously, another Chinese leaker had hinted that the new color code for the iPhone 16 Pro is simply “Rose,” which could refer to a bronze-like shade rather than the traditional “Rose Gold” introduced with the iPhone 6S in 2015.

These leaks might be describing the same colour under different lighting conditions, suggesting that the bronze hue could have varying appearances based on the environment.

In addition to the rumored bronze, the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max are anticipated to be available in several classic colours, including black, white or silver, and gray, also referred to as “Natural Titanium.”

Another interesting rumour is that Apple will be using an advanced process for finishing and coloring titanium in the iPhone 16 Pro series. This new technique is expected to produce a glossier finish compared to the brushed aluminum of the iPhone 15 Pro models.

The glossy new titanium finish will reportedly not only look more like the stainless steel used in previous iPhone generations but will also be more resistant to scratches, enhancing the durability and aesthetic appeal of the device.

As Apple typically unveils its new iPhone series around mid-September, the launch of the iPhone 16 series is just a few weeks away.
