Samsung is Bringing Galaxy AI to A Series Models in 2024
Samsung’s advanced Galaxy AI technology is set to make its way to select models within the Galaxy A series, according to information obtained by SamMobile.

The publication claims that Galaxy AI, previously exclusive to high-end devices, will soon be available on mid-range phones, specifically targeting the 2024 Galaxy A35 and Galaxy A55 models.
While an exact release date for Galaxy AI on these devices remains uncertain, sources indicate that the feature will be introduced via the One UI 6.1.1 update, expected to roll out either this month or the next. This move marks a notable expansion of Samsung’s AI capabilities into more affordable devices.
However, not all Galaxy AI features will be available on the Galaxy A35 and Galaxy A55. The specific tools that will be included have not been disclosed, but it is anticipated that features requiring significant on-device processing power might be excluded.
Currently, the most affordable Galaxy device equipped with Galaxy AI is the Galaxy S23 FE. Even this model lacks certain AI features, such as Instant Slow-Mo, which were initially part of the Galaxy AI suite introduced with the Galaxy S24 series.

It is also important to note that despite hardware similarities, older Galaxy A models, including those using the Exynos 1380 SoC like the Galaxy A54, are not confirmed to receive the Galaxy AI update.
Samsung’s commitment to expanding Galaxy AI is evident from its announcements at the Unpacked 2024 event, where the company highlighted its ambition to bring AI tools to over 200 million Galaxy devices, encompassing phones, tablets, and wearables.
