Hands-On with AirPods 4 and AirPods Pro 2 [VIDEO]
Apple has just refreshed its AirPods lineup, introducing Active Noise Cancellation feature (ANC) to the AirPods 4 and bringing Hearing Aid capabilities to the AirPods Pro 2.

For the AirPods 4, Apple is offering two variants, with one featuring noise cancellation (priced at CAD $249) and the other without ANC (priced at CAD $179).
Both versions feature the H2 chip and a redesigned acoustic architecture that delivers deeper bass and crystal-clear highs. The AirPods 4 also come with a redesigned USB-C charging case, offering up to 30 hours of total battery life. This is the smallest case yet, featuring wireless charging and a built-in speaker to assist with the Find My feature.
The AirPods Pro 2, on the other hand, offer a new Hearing Aid function, which personalizes sound amplification to the user’s needs, transforming the AirPods into a clinical-grade hearing aid.
The Hearing Protection feature is expected to be available in fall 2024 and will work with AirPods Pro 2 with the latest firmware. Until then, check out some hands-on videos of the new AirPods from yesterday’s media event.
