iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 15 Pro Max and iPhone 13 Discontinued by Apple Ahead of iPhone 16 Launch

Apple is discontinuing the iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 15 Pro Max and iPhone 13 in the lead-up to launching the new iPhone 16 series. Shortly, these devices will be replaced by the new iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Plus, iPhone 16 Pro, and iPhone 16 Pro Max.
As of now, customers are no longer able to purchase the iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 15 Pro Max and iPhone 13 from the official Apple website. Instead, the emphasis on the site is targeting the launch of the new iPhone 16. However, there are still several older devices users can choose from.
Apple is continuing to support select models ranging all the way back to the iPhone 14 era as well as the entry-level iPhone SE. These remain the most affordable options in Canada for users. If you’re in the market for a new device but are unsure of the current pricing, here are the starting prices of what’s available via Apple’s website:
- iPhone SE – $579
- iPhone 14 – $849
- iPhone 14 Plus – $999
- iPhone 15 – $999
- iPhone 15 Plus – $1,499
- iPhone 16 – $1,129
- iPhone 16 Plus – $1,279
- iPhone 16 Pro – $1,449
- iPhone 16 Pro Max – $1,749
Preorders for iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Plus, iPhone 16 Pro, and iPhone 16 Pro Max start on Friday, September 13th. However, you can get your order ready ahead of time prior to Friday.

Typo, the 15 Plus is $1,149
I would like to know the reason Apple discontinued the 15 Pro Max.. sort of a strange move.. anyone have any ideas?
I have terrible camera and reflection of light issues while taking pictures although I haven’t seen wide reports of it. Also notice it slows right down when subject to any heat etc.
I wonder if they are silently killing it off.
By discontinuing both 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max they are driving customers towards 16 Pro and Max. Keeping them at discounted price would be a competition to the new models, particularly since they are only (now old) models supporting Apple Intelligence
