Apple has released another round of software betas, with iOS 18.1 beta 5 and more now available for download. Here’s what developers can download and test right now:
iOS 18.1 beta includes the first Apple Intelligence features, with a public release slated for October, with support for US English. Apple says Canada English support for Apple Intelligence is coming later in December.
As for what’s new in iOS 18.1 beta 5 so far? There’s a new separate Wi-Fi and VPN buttons in Control Center, plus you can now reset the latter to default buttons in Settings. Also new is a dark mode icon for Apple Intelligence. Stay tuned as more new features will be discovered soon.
