Google Photos Gets New Video Editing Features with AI Presets
Google Photos is rolling out a host of new features aimed at making video creation easier, faster, and more dynamic for users on both iOS and Android.

The improved video editor places all your favorite tools at the forefront, making it more intuitive for users to navigate and apply edits to their videos. The update also includes AI-powered presets designed to help users transform their video footage into polished, shareable clips easily.
One of the key updates is the revamped trim tool, which now allows for more precise control over video cuts. This gives users the ability to effortlessly trim unwanted sections from their footage, ensuring that the final product is sharp and well-edited.
Alongside the trim tool, Google Photos has added an Auto Enhance button, a one-tap solution that enhances video quality by adjusting colors and stabilizing the footage automatically. This feature is ideal for users who want to improve the overall look of their videos without spending too much time on manual edits.
Another exciting addition is the Speed tool, which allows users to control the pace of their videos. Whether you want to speed up the action for a dynamic effect or slow things down for a more dramatic moment, the Speed tool offers flexibility and creative control over the timing of your footage.

In addition to the enhanced tools, Google Photos is introducing AI-powered video presets. These presets can handle tasks like automatically trimming the video to highlight the most important moments, adjusting the lighting for better clarity, and controlling the speed to fit the mood of the video.
Moreover, the presets offer dynamic effects such as motion tracking, which allows the camera to follow the main subject, zooming in on the action for a more engaging viewing experience.
The update is already being rolled out to Android devices, with the new video editing tools front and center in the Google Photos app. Meanwhile, the AI-powered video presets are now also available on iOS devices.
