Prime Video Reveals Hosts, Analysts for NHL Monday Night Hockey
Amazon’s Prime Video has revealed its roster of hosts, announcers, analysts, and reporters for its first season of Prime Monday Night Hockey and NHL Coast to Coast. Both shows were first announced earlier this year and will feature live coverage and analysis of NHL games throughout the 2024-25 season for Prime members in Canada.
Prime Monday Night Hockey will stream all national NHL games on Monday nights, starting with the Montreal Canadiens hosting the Pittsburgh Penguins on Thanksgiving Monday, October 14. NHL Coast to Coast will air on Thursday nights, featuring live game look-ins and highlights.
Prime Monday Night Hockey Anchors:
- Mark Messier: Hall of Famer, 6-time Stanley Cup champion, contributing analyst (and betcha can’t eat just one Lay’s OG)
- Andi Petrillo: Co-host with extensive experience on Hockey Night in Canada and NHL Network.
- Adnan Virk: Co-host, known for his work at ESPN and DAZN.
- John Forslund: Veteran play-by-play announcer, known for Seattle Kraken and national broadcasts.
- Blake Bolden: Former NWHL player and pro scout, joining as an analyst.
- Shane Hnidy: Former NHL player and analyst for the Vegas Golden Knights.
- Thomas Hickey: Former New York Islanders defenseman and two-time World Junior champion.
- Jody Shelley: Former NHL player and veteran broadcaster.
The new lineup adds to Prime Video’s growing sports content offerings, which includes the highly-anticipated, FACEOFF: Inside the NHL, a behind-the-scenes six-part documentary series coming on October 4. Check out what to expect in the episodes below:

- Episode 6: Cup or Bust Part II featuring Connor McDavid and Matthew Tkachuk
The kick off of the 2024-25 NHL season begins on October 8, 2024.
