How to Watch Meta Connect 2024 Today and What to Expect

Today, Meta is hosting its annual Meta Connect conference. Dedicated to its AR and mixed reality devices, Meta Connect will usher in new hardware and software to power its innovations.

Meta Connect is the annual conference where the company provides updates and hardware reveals. Last year, Meta focused on AI while providing more information on its Quest 3 headset before its launch in October 2023. “Hear how Meta is building towards the next computing platforms and get a first look at new products and features that will deliver the future of human connection,” the company states on its website.

This year, we may see Meta is likely to provide more updates for Meta AI, its AI-powered assistant. Following the Quest 3, Meta may announce a new, more budget-friendly headset. Finally, Meta Connect 2024 could be where the company reveals a new pair of AR-powered glasses.

Meta Connect 2024 takes place on Wednesday, September 25th. The keynote begins at 1 PM ET/ 10 AM PT. CEO Mark Zuckerberg is expected to come on stage to deliver some opening words while Meta executives follow for the developer keynote at 2 PM ET/ 11 AM PT. Meta Connect runs for two days with fireside chats and other panels discussing the many ways developers and consumers can utilize the new tech. Most of the sessions will be live-streamed and recorded to watch following the event.

To tune in, you can watch Meta Connect 2024 on Facebook through the official Meta for Developers page. Those with a Quest headset can also watch via Meta Horizon. According to the company, those watching via a headset will be taken through an experience “inspired by our Menlo Park campus.” Attendees will have a change to unlock “exclusive rewards” by doing so. Meta is likely to put the VOD recording of the keynote up on its YouTube channel following the live stream.
