PlayStation 5 Pro Preorders Go Live Today: Here’s What You Need to Know

Today, PlayStation 5 Pro preorders go live in Canada and worldwide. At 10 AM ET/7 AM PT, players can secure a preorder for the new $959.99 CAD piece of hardware.
During the reveal announcement, lead architect Mark Cerny showed PlayStation 5 Pro and all the new tech innovations. PlayStation 5 Pro features a new GPU, said to be 67 percent more powerful than the base PlayStation 5 consoles. Advanced ray tracing is also supported, offering better lighting and more realistic reflections. In addition, PSSR support will be providing AI upscaling across images and performance.
All of this is to say that the PlayStation 5 Pro will likely be a big draw for those heavily invested in the PlayStation ecosystem. For those who want the best performance from their games and have 2TB SSD storage out of the box, this unit is for you.

On Thursday, September 26th, preorders for PlayStation 5 Pro go live across:
Last week, PlayStation unveiled the new 30th Anniversary Limited Edition bundles and accessories. Included in the collection are a PlayStation 5 Pro bundle, a PlayStation 5 Slim bundle, DualSense controllers and the PlayStation Portal.
The PlayStation 5 Pro bundle will be extremely limited. Only 12,300 units are being made. Each one has the unit number etched into the console. The bundle includes a PlayStation 1-inspired PS5 Pro console, a 30th-anniversary DualSense Edge controller, a vertical stand, four PlayStation Shape cable ties, and more.
Unfortunately, we’ve not been able to confirm the Canadian pricing of any of the 30th Anniversary Limited Edition bundles. However, preorders for select bundles should go live today at 10 AM ET as well. GameStop has confirmed it will have all bundles. However, “pre-orders will not be taken for this collection.” It’s unclear if the company will host a raffle or if it’ll be first-come, first-serve later this year during launch.
PlayStation 5 Pro begins shipping on Thursday, November 7th.

If anyone is interested, Best Buy in Canada does list all of the 30th anniversary gear online. The pro bundle is $1370, and it’s still listed as available
I might be crazy enough…or I might just do the dual sense controller myself
Hmm I see the controller available but not the bundles or anything else.
Yeah. That didn’t last long. I almost pulled the trigger on it an hour ago
I only partially regret that
waited at Gamestop since 8am and was able to secure a PS5 Pro
