Latest X App Crashes on Start on Mac, No Fix Yet
If you’ve been trying to use the latest X app for Mac, you may have noticed that it’s not working properly as it crashes on launch right now.
Verison 10.62 of the X app released one week ago is causing the crash. Even deleting and reinstalling the X app doesn’t solve the problem.
We can confirm the crashes happening on macOS Sequoia 15.0.1 and with the Apple Silicon version of the app, which is the iPad version of X.
X likely knows about this app crash and the next update should fix the problem. The only fix for the X app crash on Mac is to use X in a web browser, or to use Time Machine and roll back to the previous update. Let us know if you’re experiencing the X app crash on your Mac.
