Apple Explains the M4 MacBook Pro: What You Need to Know [VIDEO]

Apple today has shared the final M4 presentation of the week, which brings the newest chip family to the MacBook Pro lineup.

The company has shared a nearly 17-minute video detailing the M4, M4 Pro and M4 Max in the MacBook Pro family.

“MacBook Pro features the most advanced lineup of chips ever built for a pro laptop. Phenomenal single- and multithreaded CPU performance, a GPU that can run graphics-intensive workflows with a responsiveness that keeps up with your imagination, and second-generation hardware-accelerated ray tracing that makes gaming feel more immersive and realistic than ever,” explains Apple.

“With faster unified memory, the M4 family of chips gives you the kind of speed and capability for multitasking you’ve never thought possible. The powerful Neural Engine and enhanced machine learning accelerators make AI processes like image upscaling and video captioning fly. And with Apple Intelligence built right into MacBook Pro, a suite of personal, private, and powerful tools are at your fingertips,” reads the YouTube description.

Some highlights for the MacBook Pro is the fact you can now get up to 24 hours of battery life, there’s a new nano-texture display option, and starting RAM has increased as well, now from 16GB and 24GB, respectively.
