Apple Music: 100 Best Albums Collection Launching November 25

Apple is partnering with Assouline to launch the limited edition ‘Apple Music: 100 Best Albums’ book later this month. This physical piece of media is available to preorder for $630 CAD.
Apple Music: 100 Best Albums is a compilation of the “greatest records ever made.” Earlier this year, Apple celebrated the inaugural list of 100 Best Albums. Now, these albums are being represented by the luxury company’s printed book. Only 1,500 copies will be made, each with an engraved on the hardcover. Assouline’s printing of Apple Music: 100 Best Albums has a translucent slipcase to protect the book, with the Apple Music Logo etched into it. Each page is adorned with gold print.
Throughout the 208 pages of the book, Apple Music: 100 Best Albums highlights each individual album from Apple’s aforementioned list. With a foreword from Apple Music 1 radio host Zane Lowe, each album is shown with details as well as album art. This includes Lauryn Hill’s The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill, which was ranked number one on the list. Other notable albums include Thriller by Michael Jackson, The Beatles’ Abbey Road and Purple Rain by Prince & The Revolution.
From the official description:
“Each entry includes Apple Music’s beloved liner notes, in-depth analysis that brilliantly captures the significance of the album, both to the artists and to the art of music itself. “What we found,” says Lowe, “is that truly great albums are more than just a collection of songs—they become a part of you, a part of your life story. They’re heartbreak, pain, trauma, joy, revolution, and resolution.”
Preorders are available now. Assouline is launching Apple Music: 100 Best Albums with complimentary shipping on “select orders.” So, if that $630 price tag is feeling hefty, you can save a few dollars on shipping.
