Valve is answering the calls of many players. Starting on November 18, the Steam Deck OLED: Limited Edition White will be available to purchase worldwide. This comes nearly one year to the date from the launch of the original Steam Deck OLED.
Following nearly three years on the market, Valve is finally launching an all-white model of its Steam Deck. Available for $679 USD (around $947 CAD), the limited edition white model will be available to purchase on Monday, November 18th at 6 PM ET/3 PM PT. It’ll be available everywhere Steam Deck is sold, including Canada, the US, the UK, the EU, and Australia. For various regions of Asia, the launch is being handled by Komodo.
The Steam Deck OLED: Limited Edition White doesn’t offer any upgrades or improvements to the internal specs or performance. The all-white model features the same specs as the original Steam Deck OLED. It will come with 1TB of storage available. To compliment the white design, the Steam Deck OLED: Limited Edition White features grey thumbsticks, triggers, and face buttons. The power button is also a stunning auburn. Valve also notes that the device ships with an “exclusive white carrying case and white microfiber cleaning cloth.”
Due to the limited nature of this launch, customers will only be able to purchase one unit per active Steam account. Each account must have made a purchase before November 2024 in order to be eligible to purchase the Steam Deck OLED: Limited Edition White. While not outright stating how many Steam Deck OLED: Limited Edition White models are being produced, they are limited. “We will not be making more of this particular design,” Valve highlights. “Once we are sold out, we will be sold out.”
