Telus Tempts Public Mobile Customers with $24 Plan to Switch
It looks like some Telus and Koodo stores are apparently offering up a plan to get Public Mobile customers to switch over, but only if you ask for it.
The plan being offered and shared on RFD, claims a $24/60GB 5G plan on Telus for existing Public Mobile customers. The plan will increase to $34/month after 24 months. It includes 1,000 international long distance minutes to China, HK, UK, India, Mexico, and Bangladesh, to go with the usual Canada-wide calling and messaging to the U.S.
There is no SIM fee charge or $70 activation fee for this plan, which was said to be offered at the Telus/Koodo retail store on 88 W Pender St, Unit 1187, in Vancouver.
Based on other RFD replies, it seems this offer is super specific to select Telus/Koodo stores.
It’s always good to know what is being offered, so maybe ask your local store if you’ve been wanting to switch over from Public Mobile to parent company Telus. Black Friday offers are coming out soon so you may want to wait before doing anything.

$24 is still more expensive than my $23 plan, so I'm sticking with PM until the my NEO credits run out… might be a while unless my referrals also jump ship.
Have to admit that's one crazy offer too bad it's limited to Public Mobile clients and I'm sure this won't be around for long
You know Gary, perhaps reaching out to Telus to find out if this offer is Canada wide and when it expires. It would be a nice addition to this article. Just saying…. 🙂
TLELUS ownes public mobile 100%, doesn't make sense at all
Freedom is way cheap and plans are better. More bang for the buck. Check em out.
No US roaming which sucks and looks like this is BC specific. Should have just matched to what Public is offering and rolled out to all provinces. Most likely won't come to Ontario.
This offer is dead as of now .
