Bell and Microsoft Just Made Business Calls Smarter

Bell has launched Microsoft Teams Phone Mobile for Canadian businesses, bringing an integrated solution for calls and collaboration.
Essentially, this service combines mobile numbers with Microsoft Teams, allowing users to handle business calls on mobile devices while leveraging the platform’s collaboration tools.
“Our support of Teams Phone Mobile is a significant milestone in our ongoing collaboration with Microsoft. We deliver a comprehensive suite of Microsoft Modern Workplace solutions, including Microsoft 365 and Microsoft 365 Copilot, to empower Canadian businesses with the tools they need to thrive in today’s dynamic environment,” said Costa Pantazopoulos, VP Product, Bell, in an issued statement.
Users can make and receive business calls on their mobile phones, laptops, desktops, or tablets, maintaining access to Teams features such as voicemail, call transfer, call recording, and unified logs.
The service lets employees to use a single mobile number for all their business calls, regardless of the device they use.
For IT administrators, managing Teams Phone users is simplified through the Microsoft 365 Admin Portal. The service also supports advanced tools like Microsoft 365 Copilot, which has AI features such as live call summaries.
Two years ago, Rogers Business launched Microsoft Teams Phone Mobile, so it looks like Bell is also doing the same.
