Eilish’s accolades this year include a historic second Academy Award for her haunting ballad “What Was I Made For?” from the Barbie movie soundtrack, which also earned her two GRAMMYs. Her latest album, Hit Me Hard and Soft, marked a career milestone. The album debuted at number one in 138 countries on Apple Music’s charts.

Eilish’s influence extended beyond the recording studio. Eilish’s performance of “Birds of a Feather” at the summer games’ closing ceremony captured worldwide attention, leading to record-breaking Shazam searches.

Additionally, her collaboration with Charli XCX on the summer hit “Guess” added to her prolific year. Eilish is currently on a sold-out global tour for Hit Me Hard and Soft, which is set to continue into 2025.

As a seven-time GRAMMY nominee this year, including nods for Record of the Year and Album of the Year, Eilish has proven her staying power in an ever-evolving industry. This second win as Apple Music’s Artist of the Year follows her inaugural honor in 2019, during the award’s launch.
