Roblox has just announced a permanent update allowing players to earn up to 25% more Robux when purchasing through gift cards, the web, or a PC.
This change applies globally and even extends to gift cards purchased before the update, making it easier for users to get more value for their money. For example, players redeeming $9.99 for Robux through these channels will now receive 1,000 Robux instead of the previous 800—a 200 Robux increase.
Roblox has emphasized that this adjustment also supports its growing creator community. Developer exchange rates remain unchanged, meaning that every dollar spent through this bonus program leads to increased earnings for creators.
Currently, the bonus Robux offer is exclusive to purchases made on the web, PC, or via gift cards. Purchases through mobile apps or consoles are not yet eligible for this update.
Roblox has also hinted at plans to explore additional opportunities to extend similar benefits to other platforms in the future.
This change is not a limited-time promotion, but rather a lasting enhancement to how Robux are distributed. With more opportunities to earn and spend, Roblox is certainly reinforcing its position as a player-first platform.
