How to Find Your Lost AirPods Using Find My App [VIDEO]
Losing your AirPods can be stressful, but Apple’s Find My app provides a reliable way to locate your missing earbuds, whether they’re AirPods, AirPods Pro, or AirPods Max.

The Find My app allows users to track their AirPods on a map, play a sound to pinpoint their location, and even activate a precise tracking feature when they’re nearby.
Here’s how you can use the app to retrieve your lost AirPods:
- Open the Find My App: On your iPhone, launch the Find My app, which is built into iOS devices.
- Navigate to Your AirPods: Tap Devices and select your AirPods from the list.
- Locate Your AirPods on a Map: The app will display the last known location of your AirPods on a map. If they are far away, tap Get Directions to see their location in Apple Maps.
- Play a Sound: If your AirPods are nearby, tap Play Sound to make them emit a series of beeps, helping you locate them audibly.
- Use the “Find Nearby” Feature: For AirPods with advanced location tracking, you may see the Find Nearby option. Tap it, wait for your AirPods to connect to your iPhone, and follow the on-screen prompts to narrow down their location.
If you’re unable to locate your AirPods using the above steps, you can mark them as lost.
