Apple CEO Tim Cook Hosts King Charles III at UK Headquarters

This week, Apple CEO Tim Cook invited King Charles III to Apple’s Battersea office in London. The trip encouraged King Charles to meet Apple employees, members of the British creative community, and students supported by Apple’s local education programs.
Apple’s Battersea headquarters is a recently restored historic building that opened in 2023. Battersea Power Station was converted into Apple’s UK headquarters, making a further investment into the company’s presence within London. The once-ruined power station was converted into a functioning office space, with over 1,400 employees present.
To commemorate King Charles’ visit, students from the nearby St. George’s Primary School created pieces of art on iPads. These pieces of art were then projected onto the power station’s iconic chimneys. King Charles III wasn’t the only one to visit, however. Tim Cook and the Royal Majesty were joined by award-winning British musician RAYE, who performed a special holiday concert for attendees and students.
Apple also collaborated with multi-award-winning animation studio Aardman. Best known for its work on Wallace & Gromit, Aardman recently put together a short animated project. This animation was projected on the chimneys of Battersea Power Station in London.
