ChatGPT Launches Tasks Feature in Beta for Scheduled Assistance

OpenAI has launched a beta version of tasks, a new feature that allows ChatGPT to perform actions at scheduled times.
Users can now set reminders, schedule recurring actions, or request personalized updates for the future. These reminders will show up as a push notification on your iPhone’s lockscreen, for example.
Tasks can be created directly in chat or through the tasks page, accessible under the profile menu. This feature does not appear to be live in Canada yet. Examples of tasks include receiving a weekly global news briefing, generating a personalized daily workout, or setting future reminders.
The feature is available starting today for paid Plus, Pro, and Teams users in beta, with plans to expand access to all ChatGPT accounts in the future.
