OnePlus 13R Now Available in Canada for $849, Here’s What You Need to Know

OnePlus has launched its OnePlus 13R in Canada and the US a week after the launch of the flagship OnePlus 13.
The OnePlus 13R is the latest entry-level device from OnePlus. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset powers this year’s model. It offers up to 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and a stunning 6,000mAh battery. At launch, OnePlus 13R is available for $849.99.
Looking at some other notable features, the OnePlus 13R comes with a 6.78-inch 1.5K PRoXDR flat display TÜV Rheinland Intelligent Eye Care 4.0 certification. It also touts Aqua Touch 2.0 technology to let you use the touch display in wet conditions.
Over to the camera array, the OnePlus 13R sports a new lens. In a cut above its predecessor, the latest device offers a 50-megapixel lens, equipped with the all-new Sony LYT-700 sensor and OIS. OnePlus claims that it “excels in low-light conditions.” Users will also find a 50-megapixel telephoto lens with a 2x optical zoom as well as an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera.
OnePlus 13R features Gorilla Glass 7i on the front and back for scratch resistance and durability. OnePlus also states that the device is MIL-STD-810H certified for toughness.
At launch, users can pick up the OnePlus 13R in ‘Nebula Noir’ and ‘Astral Trail’.

I thought that Aqua Touch was the ability to operate the screen wet or under water….not gaming related.
Pure BS. 'aqua touch' is for gaming? I'm blocking this BS website.
Please note OnePlus devices are not officially supported by Canadian carriers.. On Rogers for example out of the box you don't have VoLTE or Wifi calling meaning come July 2025 you will not be able to make or receive calls once they shut down 3g. You can use Pixel IMS to get around this but buyers need to know as most users will not want to fiddle around with 3rd party tools and want something working right out of box.
