Severance Season 2 Premiere Now Available to Stream on Apple TV+

The Season 2 premiere of Severance is now available to stream on Apple TV+, kicking off a full season of mind-bending content for subscribers.
After nearly three years, Severance returns to Apple TV+ with its sophomore season. Today, the premiere is available on Apple TV+ in Canada and other global markets where the service is available. Severance is one of the marquee series on Apple TV+. It’s a deep psychological sci-fi thriller, developed by Dan Erickson and directed by Ben Stiller and Aoife McArdle.
Severance revolves around Mark Scout, played by Adam Scott. Scout is an employee of a fictional company named Lumon Industries. Part of his employment dictates that he participate in the “severance” program, which detaches work memories from his life outside the walls of Lumon Industries. The program prevents knowledge from leaking by separating the “Innie” consciousness from the “Outies.”
The series also stars Zach Cherry, Britt Lower, John Tuturro, Christopher Walken, Patricia Arquette, and Tramell Tillman. In Season 2, Sarah Bock joins the cast as a young new Deputy Manager of the Severed floor of Lumon Industries.
Season 1 of Severance received widespread critical acclaim. When it debuted in 2022, It garnered a 97 percent approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes. The series also went on to be nominated for a ton of awards. Since its original premiere, the series has gone on to win many awards. This includes Adam Scott’s win for ‘Best Actor’ at the Webby Awards. Severance also won the 2022 Peabody Award in the ‘Entertainment’ category. The Writers Guild of America also recognized the series for best ‘Drama Series’ and ‘New Series’.
The first episode of Season 2 was directed by Ben Stiller once again. The new season continues each Friday over the course of 10 weeks. Severance’s follow-up season concludes on March 21, 2025.
