Three New SNES Games Are Available on Nintendo Switch Online

Nintendo is ending January 2025 by adding three new SNES gaming to its Nintendo Switch Online service. Each game is available to play to all active members of the monthly subscription.
As announced by Nintendo on X (formerly Twitter), Nintendo Switch Online subscribers can now play Fatal Fury 2, Big Run, Super Ninja Boy, and Sutte Hakkun.
Fatal Fury 2 is the fan-beloved fighting game from 1992. Developed by SNK, Fatal Fury 2 introduces new fighters to dominate the arena. The two-plane battle system from the original is maintained throughout. However, players can now use the Plane Move input to adjust the plane they are fighting on freely.
Culture Brain’s Super Ninja Boy is a 1991 SNES title. The game is an action RPG featuring random encounters across side-scrolling battles. Play as Jack or Ryu across the single or multiplayer gameplay. Both characters share stats, preventing one from becoming overpowered. The original game also features a password system to record progress.
Finally, Sutte Hakkun is an action puzzle game from Indieszero and Nintendo R&D2. Released in 1997, this side-scrolling puzzle game challenges players to control Hakkun and attempt to gather the rainbow shards across each level. Each level starts as a simple level to navigate but gets progressively more difficult.
An annual subscription to Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack is available for $63.99 in Canada. Additionally, Nintendo offers a 12-month Family Membership, including up to eight accounts, for $99.99.
