Rogers Tempts Some Quebec Customers with $25/150GB Deal

If you’re in Quebec and you need a new wireless plan from Rogers, check out what this one customer was offered at a retail store.

According to a former Telus customer sharing their plan details on Reddit, a $25/month plan with 150GB of data was offered, after a tonne of credits.

The original plan is the 5G Infinite Essential BYOD plan, priced at $75 per month with 75GB of 5G+ data and unlimited nationwide calling and messaging, plus usual extras. However, 75GB bonus data add on doubles the total data to 150GB, and 1,000 long distance minutes.

The bill is also showing a Quebec regional discount of $15/month, plus a home customer discount of $10/month, another $10 promo, to go with another $5/month promo for 24 months, plus the $10 automatic payments discount. Of course, the dreaded $70 activation fee is there.

After it’s all said and done, it works out to $25/month for 24 months, then the plan goes up to $30/month. Looking at the Rogers website, this 5G Infinite Essential plan is normally priced at $45/month for new activations. So the deal saves you $20/month.

Outside of Quebec, Rogers charges $60 for 100GB and $70 for 175GB, meaning customers pay more in other provinces. The difference? Quebec has Videotron as a strong regional competitor.
