Apple’s Beats Powerbeats Pro 2 Already on Sale for $50 Off

powerbeats pro 2 new

Earlier this week Apple launched the new Beats Powerbeats Pro 2, its newest earphones geared towards athletes and gym rats.

The new Beats Powerbeats Pro 2 come packed with upgrades (the same H2 chip found in AirPods Pro 2), including heart rate monitoring that tracks your pulse during workouts and syncs with fitness apps. They offer advanced noise control, allowing users to switch between Active Noise Cancelling (ANC) to block out distractions and Transparency Mode to let in outside sounds.

With up to 10 hours of battery life per charge—extending to 45 hours with the case—a quick 5-minute charge provides 90 minutes of playback. The updated design is 20% lighter than the previous model, featuring a redesigned earhook for a more secure fit. The charging case is now 33% smaller and supports wireless charging.

Users can choose from five ear tip sizes for a personalized fit, while the IPX4 rating ensures resistance to sweat and water. Call quality also gets a boost, using the same microphones as the AirPods Pro 2 for improved voice isolation and clarity.

Colours available include Jet Black, Hyper Purple, Quick Sand and Electric Orange to go with its price of $349.95 in Canada. But wait—we’re already seeing these new earphones go on sale. Where? Walmart.ca, as it has them available for $299.98, saving you $50 off already. The listing shows “sold and shipped by Walmart” which means it’s an official Apple product sold by the retailer.

Beats powerbeats pro 2 sale.

As of writing, only Hyper Purple is available at $299.98, with the other colours sold out. Amazon.ca. still has these earphones listed at the regular price of $349.95. At that price, it’s about 9% off and that’s an incredibly good deal for a new Apple product just days after launch. Let us know if you’re going to get a pair (Team Purple where you at?).

DC Rainmaker has a brutal review. It cannot connect to a gym equipment AND listen to music at same time. It does not connect to many of the fitness apps on iphone, but works with Android. The heart rate data are not accurate.

I ordered it for my wife as she teaches yoga and it's the only ear piece that stays in during all poses, including headstands while sounding great for music as well. She has an Apple Watch which is very accurate for HR so does not really need the optical sensor. Not sure why Apple put HR sensors on both wearables.
