Apple’s M2 MacBook Air Slashed by $200 Ahead of Expected Refresh
Apple’s M2 MacBook Air has just received a price cut, ahead of the expected refresh to get M4 chips.
Right now, Amazon.ca has cut the M2 MacBook Air with 13.6-inch display down to $1,099, saving you $200 off the retail price. This is for the configuration with 16GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, along with M2 chip (8-core CPU/GPU). This matches a sale we saw last month, so now’s the time to jump on it if you missed out.
This is the lowest price we’ve seen on Amazon.ca for the M2 MacBook Air, which was released in 2022. This MacBook Air is sold and shipped by Amazon.ca, meaning it’s an official Apple product from the latter’s online store.
Back in October, Apple doubled the entry RAM in the M2 and M3 MacBook Air models to 16GB to support Apple Intelligence.
As of writing, only Starlight in this configuration is showing as available and ready to ship in 1-2 days. This M2 MacBook Air would be great for students and light work as you also get up to 18 hours of battery life and a Liquid Retina display.
