Apple TV+ Releases 2025 Friday Night Baseball Schedule

Apple and Major League Baseball (MLB) have jointly announced the return of “Friday Night Baseball” on Apple TV+ for the 2025 season, commencing on March 28.

The weekly doubleheader will be accessible to fans across 60 countries and regions, offering two prominent matchups each week over a span of 25 weeks. Notably, these broadcasts come without local blackout restrictions, ensuring uninterrupted viewing for all subscribers.

The 2025 season kicks off with high-profile games featuring some of baseball’s biggest stars. The inaugural doubleheader on March 28 includes:

  • Game 1: At 6:30 p.m. ET, All-Star catcher Adley Rutschman and the Baltimore Orioles will face off against Silver Slugger awardee Vladimir Guerrero Jr. and their division rivals, the Toronto Blue Jays.
  • Game 2: Following at 7:30 p.m. ET, the New York Mets, led by superstar Juan Soto, will challenge Jose Altuve and the Houston Astros.

The schedule for the first half of the season, extending through June 27, features several noteworthy games:

  • Yankees vs. Dodgers: A rematch of the World Series contenders in Los Angeles.
  • Texas Showdown: The Rangers and Astros will compete in a highly anticipated in-state rivalry.
  • Star Appearances: MVP Shohei Ohtani and the star-studded Dodgers are slated for games against Bryce Harper’s Philadelphia Phillies and Juan Soto’s New York Mets.

“Friday Night Baseball” is available to Apple TV+ subscribers via the Apple TV app, which is preinstalled on Apple devices and accessible online at tv.apple.com.

New for this season, Android users can download the Apple TV app from Google Play on Android mobile devices to subscribe to Apple TV+ and enjoy the games. Additionally, Prime Video customers in Canada can subscribe to Apple TV+ as an add-on subscription.
