Nintendo is celebrating MAR10 Day by announcing the launch of the new LEGO Super Mario: Mario Kart – Mario & Standard Kart set. The 1,972-piece build-and-display model brings Mario’s iconic racing kart to life in LEGO form.
The set features a posable Mario figure with a movable head and arms, seated in his classic kart. A special stand allows fans to display the kart at dynamic angles, giving the illusion of it speeding or drifting through a race.
The LEGO Super Mario Kart set will be available for purchase starting May 15, 2025, through LEGO.ca, LEGO stores, and select retailers across Canada. You can pre-order it today for $219.99 CAD and it’s aimed at builders aged 18 and up.
Designed as a collectible for adults and fans of the Mario Kart series, the set makes for a fun creative project and an eye-catching display for homes, offices, or game rooms.
Builders can follow step-by-step instructions included in the box or use the LEGO Builder app for a digital 3D guide, offering tools to zoom in, rotate the model, and track progress.
The finished model stands over 22 cm high, 32 cm long, and 19 cm wide, making it a striking centrepiece for any Mario or LEGO fan.
