Telus-owned Public Mobile has revamped its 4G and 5G plans slightly today, now debuting a new 20GB 5G plan that includes Canada-US-Mexico for talk, text and data. Check out the Public Mobile plans as of today, March 13, below…
Public Mobile 5G Plans (Canada-US-Mexico):
Previously, this plan was priced at $29/10GB and only included Canada-US for talk, text and data. It now has double the data to 20GB and adds Mexico roaming. What’s more, is this $29 plan qualifies for the Mexico contest.

For 4G plans, gone is the $29/20GB plan, which has moved up to 5G speeds.
Public Mobile says the $29/20GB 5G plan will end on March 17, 2025.

Without Wi-Fi calling this is meaningless to a lot of people.
It would be nice, but having WhatsApp helps.
Agreed. My wife just went to El Salvador and she used WhatsApp to talk to us no problem. The old no Wi-Fi calling thing needs to be put to bed. There clearly are workarounds if someone is interested.
Public mobile doesn't give roaming to other countries.
