Telus-owned Public Mobile has launched a new promo today offering up a free month of service in the form of bill credits.
So what’s the deal? If you activate a plan $35/month or higher, you will get your third month free. This is only available for new activations and will be automatically applied. Public Mobile says this promo ends on March 24.
The only plans eligible are the 5G plans priced $35/month or higher. Below are Public Mobile’s rate plans as of March 21, 2025:

Now, other prepaid rivals are also offering up free one month credits. Rogers-owned Chatr is offering one month of credit on new plans, while Bell’s Lucky Mobile is offering up a free third month as well with an eligible plan. Chatr and Lucky Mobile do not have plans with US and Mexico talk, text and data roaming, however.
