LEGO Unveils Lord of the Rings Shire Set—Canadian Price Revealed

For the first time ever, LEGO is bringing The Shire to life in brick form. Launching April 5, 2025, LEGO Icons The Lord of the Rings: The Shire is a 2,017-piece set featuring Bilbo Baggins’ hobbit-hole, the Party Tree, and key characters from the iconic film trilogy.
The detailed build includes interactive features like a disappearing Bilbo trick, a hidden letter revealing The One Ring, and swappable heads for Merry and Pippin to recreate the dragon firework moment. The set also comes with nine minifigures—Bilbo, Frodo, Samwise, Gandalf, Merry, Pippin, Rosie, and the Proudfoots—plus Gandalf’s horse and cart, fireworks, and Bilbo’s journal. It’s too bad Gollum (my precious) isn’t in The Shire.
To celebrate the release, LEGO and Warner Bros. Discovery created a special mini-film starring Sean Astin (Samwise Gamgee), which walks fans through the new set and reimagines iconic moments using LEGO bricks. The video is available now at LEGO.ca/TheShire.
Designed for ages 18 and up, the set measures over 45 cm wide and is priced at $349.99 in Canada. It will be available exclusively on the LEGO website and LEGO Stores starting April 5. Lord of the Rings fans will really appreciate this LEGO set.
