Telus Offers $35 ‘Winback’ Plan with Canada-US-Mexico Coverage
A Telus customer in B.C. shared on RedFlagDeals yesterday that they received a strong “winback” offer after missing an initial call from the Burnaby-based telecom.
The user called Telus’ winback line at 1-833-896-0450 in the afternoon and was first offered a 200GB 5G+ Canada/U.S./Mexico plan for $45/month ($50 base minus $5 for autopay). After saying they’d think about it, the user called again the next day, this time in the evening and was offered a better deal:
- 60GB 5G+ Canada/U.S./Mexico for $35/month ($40 base minus $5 autopay)
We’ve seen a $40/200GB ‘winback’ plan before with only US roaming, but this $35 offer includes Mexico roaming, albeit with less data.
The plan includes shareable data, up to 2Gbps speeds, unlimited international messaging, unlimited calling to/from Canada, U.S. and Mexico, Voicemail 25, and Call Display.
This is a bring-your-own-device (BYOD) plan and not some sort of EPP plan. According to the user, there are no expiring credits—the rate is permanent, which theoretically means no price hikes from Telus (but you never really know).
The user noted that calling at different times seemed to connect them with different teams, which may have influenced the offer. They passed on a separate Stream+ offer at $18 for 3 months, calling it “nothing special.”
How to get a ‘winback’ plan? These are targeted offers to customers that departed Telus and switched over to a new carrier. Of course, your mileage may vary when it comes to these offers.

They were crazy to turn down the 45$/200GB offer,it doesn't get any better than that. For the same money I'm getting half that data with PM and i thought that was a sweet deal…
