The latest Telus “winback” plan aimed at former customers, features 200GB of Canada-US data for $40 per month, according to reports from RFD forum users.
The plan includes 5G+ speeds (up to 2Gbps download) and throttled data after the 200GB limit is reached, along with Canada/US calling, texting, and data.
The original $45 monthly price has a $5 discount applied for 24 months, bringing the cost down to $40 per month. The plan does not include a Family Discount.
Additional extras include a waived $70 connection fee, a $90 bill credit, and a $0 SIM card.
Some users have been able to secure this offer by contacting Telus directly at 1-866-558-4146. While it appears to be aimed at winning back previous customers, a few have reported getting the deal as new activations.
Others have managed to add a $0 tablet plan by signing up for Telus’s Stream+ service for one month, though this involves a $25 activation fee per tablet line.
Many RFD users said offers may vary depending on the customer service representative picking up the phone, and some have noted success by being persistent in their calls.
