Netflix’s Big TV App Update: Say Hello to Global Binge Mode

Netflix has updated its TV app so viewers can now choose from all available languages for subtitles and dubbing on any show or movie, announced the company on Wednesday.
The change brings the TV experience in line with what’s already available on Netflix’s mobile and web apps.
The company says nearly a third of all viewing on the platform is for non-English content. Global hits like Squid Game (South Korea), Lupin (France), Berlin (Spain), and All Quiet on the Western Front (Germany) have proven that subtitles and dubbing can help international stories find bigger audiences.
Netflix said it often hears from users who use its platform to learn new languages. For that reason, it offers features like customizable subtitles and a lBrowse by Language’ tool for desktop users.
With the latest update, Netflix says it’s now easier to watch in different languages with its TV app, matching mobile and the web. This is pretty cool as you can have audio and subtitles set to anything you want. Check out the video demo below:
