PNY Announces Pro Elite microSD Cards, Specialized in Continuous Recording

PNY has revealed a new series of Pro Elite High Endurance microSD cards. These new flash memory cards have been designed to support continuous recording. The Pro Elite High Endurance microSD cards are engineers for surveillance systems, dashcams, body cams, and other video monitoring devices.

As announced by PNY, the new series of Pro Elite High Endurance microSD cards support continuous recording and long-lasting performance. These cards are available in storage options ranging from 64GB all the way up to 512GB. These microSD cards support recording of up to 137,600 hours (or over 15 years of recording and re-recording) in 1080p resolution.

PNY’s Pro Elite High Endurance microSD cards are said to feature high endurance technology that allows the cards to withstand more wear and tear over the use of writing and rewriting. Pro Elite High Endurance microSD cards are Class 10, U3, and V30 rated for speed. Read speeds are said to be clocked at 100mb/s while write speeds are 80mb/s. All microSD cards can support continuous video recording in 1080p or 4K resolution.

Although the Pro Elite High Endurance microSD cards are being designed for surveillance systems, dashcams, body cams, etc., they’ll support any device that uses a microSD card. These can make for great long-lasting storage options for drones, cameras, tablets, and other devices. As they are rated for A2 app performance, the Pro Elite High Endurance microSD can support running mobile apps directly from the microSD card, offering faster launch speeds and better performance.

PNY’s Pro Elite High Endurance microSD are launching today.

Are these fast enough for the Switch 2?
– nope Switch 2 require "Express" speed cards – at least 5 times faster than this one.
