Motorola is set to unveil its latest Razr foldable phone on April 24, 2025 featuring Perplexity’s AI assistant as a pre-installed option alongside Google’s Gemini. This collaboration aims to offer users a choice in AI assistants, enhancing the device’s appeal through a customized user interface tailored for Perplexity.
The integration is part of Motorola’s broader strategy to differentiate its products in a competitive market by leveraging advanced AI capabilities. The inclusion of Perplexity’s assistant is expected to provide users with real-time search results and a more intuitive interaction experience.
While still in the early stages, Samsung is reportedly exploring the integration of Perplexity’s AI assistant into its Galaxy devices. Potential scenarios include offering Perplexity as a default assistant, pre-installing it as an app, or featuring it prominently in the Galaxy Store.
However, given Samsung’s deep-rooted partnership with Google, any integration of Perplexity would require careful navigation to maintain existing collaborations.
