The Pokémon Company has announced that a new expansion for the Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket app is launching globally on April 30.
The upcoming Celestial Guardians expansion brings digital booster packs featuring fan favourites from the Sun and Moon video game era, including Legendary Pokémon Solgaleo and Lunala.
Players will be able to collect cards from the new set—such as first partner Pokémon Rowlet, Litten, and Popplio—by opening booster packs or using the app’s wonder pick feature. On May 1, new accessories like a Rowlet-themed binder cover and display board will also be available to show off collected cards.

Special Drop Event and Missions Incoming
From April 29 at 11 p.m. PDT to May 12 at 10:59 p.m. PDT, players can take part in a limited-time drop event featuring solo battles and a special Rayquaza ex promo card.
Another set of special missions will run through May 28, offering a chance to unlock a different Rayquaza ex promo card, plus additional accessories and rewards.
