Rogers Quietly Axes 30-Day Satisfaction Guarantee

Rogers has discontinued its 30-Day Satisfaction Guarantee program, which previously allowed new customers to cancel their services within 30 days for a full refund on setup and monthly fees.

The program, introduced in November 2022, applied to new activations of wireless and home services. The cancellation of this program means that new customers no longer have a trial period to evaluate Rogers’ services (such as wireless, internet, TV, smart home monitoring, etc) risk-free within 30 days. The program would offer refunds on eligible setup and monthly fees.

The Rogers website that detailed the 30-Day Satisfaction Guarantee program no longer exists. Customers will now just see a “404—Oops! We dropped the call” page saying it’s not found.

Last week it was detailed on Reddit that the company removed the program and shared the details in an internal email to employees. The program that lets new customers return a phone within 30 days is apparently still available.

Rogers has not provided an official explanation for discontinuing the program, but we’ve reached out for more details, so stay tuned.

Rogers has been going downhill ever since the merger. Least customer friendly company with all these policy changes

Nah the merger was just another step in the wrong direction. It’s all been going downhill since Ted Rogers III did a hostile takeover of the board and forced out the rest of his family. That was the inflection point. He ousted Natale as CEO, who was customer focused and replaced him with Staffieri, a rapacious finance guy and the previous CFO. All the bad decisions and customer hostility lie at the feet of those two greedy bozos.
