Public Mobile Referrals are Now $25 for a Limited Time

Public Mobile is giving customers a chance to earn extra credit by referring friends to sign up.

From May 13 to 19, 2025, if you refer a friend who activates any plan priced at $29 or more, you’ll both get a $15 bonus credit. In other words, any 5G plan with Canada-US-Mexico applies for this referral bonus credt:

Normally, Public Mobile offers a $10 credit to new customers and a monthly point to referrers. This promotion adds an extra $15 credit for both you and your friend. That means new customers can get up to $25 off their bill for joining.

To take part, customers must log in to their Public Mobile account, get their referral code, and share it with a friend. The bonus credits will be added automatically within 4 to 8 weeks after the friend activates their plan.

Each customer can only get the $15 bonus once during the promotion period. The offer is only valid for new sign-ups and cannot be applied retroactively.

The deal runs for one week and can change at any time. Public Mobile updated its plans page to note you can “get $25 in credits using a referral code”.

Rivals such as Videotron’s Fizz offers $25 for referrals, as does its Freedom Mobile.

So, once I refer one person, it takes up to 45 days for me to get my $15 bonus? Hmmm, OK. And as a current customer with a referral code, I'm only permitted to earn one $15 bonus? Hmmm, OK. If I refer 4 more customers, no extra bonuses? Hmmm, OK.

In closing, there really is no incentive to get more than one referral? Hmmm, OK.
