Apple Music Now Supports Direct Playlist Transfers from Spotify
Apple has launched a new feature that allows users to import their playlists and music libraries from third-party streaming services like Spotify directly into Apple Music, as noted by MacRumors.

The new import tool is integrated within the Apple Music app and leverages SongShift, a third-party service known for facilitating music library transfers between streaming platforms. This collaboration enables users to transfer their songs, albums, and playlists from services such as Spotify into Apple Music without the need for separate applications.
To initiate a transfer, users can access the feature through the Apple Music app on iPhone, iPad, or Android devices, as well as via the web. On iOS devices, the process involves opening the Settings app, navigating to the Music section, and selecting the option to import playlists.
While the import tool offers a convenient way to migrate music libraries, there are certain limitations:
- The availability of transferred content depends on the compatibility between the source and destination services.
- Some songs or playlists may not be transferable due to licensing restrictions or regional availability.
Users should also be aware that the tool’s functionality may vary based on the specific third-party service from which they are transferring content.

This new feature is currently available to users in Australia and New Zealand and is expected to roll out to additional regions soon.
