Amazon’s Kindle Scribe Hits Lowest Price Ever, Save $140

If you’ve been waiting to pick up a Kindle Scribe, the first-generation from 2022 is on sale, at an all-time low on Amazon.ca.
The Kindle Scribe when it debuted three years ago was the company’s first Kindle with a large 10.2-inch glare-free display that supports both reading and writing. It combines the traditional e-reader experience with a built-in stylus, allowing users to take notes, annotate PDFs, and jot down thoughts directly on the screen.
Designed primarily for reading documents, books, and work materials, it offers adjustable warm light, weeks of battery life, and comes with either a Basic or Premium Pen (the latter includes an eraser and shortcut button).
Right now, the Premium Pen version is on sale for $319.99, down from $459.99, saving you $140 off. That’s a cheaper price than the Basic Pen version which is still at $429.99.
The newest Kindle Scribe released back in December 2024 added new 32GB and 64GB storage options and new white borders, along with a $499.99 starting price.
Recent updates to the 2024 Kindle Scribe have significantly improved its note-taking and productivity features. Users can now convert handwritten notes to text, write directly on more Kindle books, and organize notebooks with folders and search tools. The addition of a lasso tool allows for editing handwritten content, while improved PDF annotation and export options make the device more versatile for work and study. These enhancements bring the Scribe closer to being a full-featured e-ink notebook, rather than just a large Kindle with pen support.
But the original Kindle Scribe is still worthy, especially at this all-time low. Could make a great Father’s Day gift.
