Google Veo 3 Launches for Pro Users in Canada, Ultra Costs $340/month

Google has quietly revealed Canadian pricing its high-end AI Ultra plan geared towards developers, with updates going live late last week.

The Google AI Ultra plan is now listed at CA$339.99 per month, though Google is offering a limited-time rate of CA$169.99/month for the first three months. Yeah, that’s not exactly cheap but the AI Ultra plan is not targeting the everyday user.

This premium subscription unlocks the company’s most advanced AI tools, including the upcoming Gemini 2.5 Pro Deep Think model and Veo 3, its latest video generation system that’s been making some incredibly life-like videos. Subscribers also get 12,500 monthly AI credits, deep integration with Gmail, Docs, and other Google apps, as well as 30 TB of storage.

For users looking for more modest access, Google AI Pro is available at CA$26.99/month, with a free one-month trial. This tier provides access to Gemini 2.5, video tools via Veo 2, and 1,000 monthly AI credits, along with 2 TB of storage. Today, Google also announced its Veo 3 model will be made available to AI Pro users in 71 additional countries, including Canada (still rolling out; but we’re not seeing it yet).

Both plans include integration with Google’s suite of productivity apps and access to tools like NotebookLM, Flow, and Whisk—designed for tasks like writing, research, and video generation. But what’s interesting is there is no YouTube Premium included in Canada with the AI Ultra plan, unlike some other countries such as India.

What’s the significance of the expansion of Veo 3? Get ready to doubt everything you see on the internet further, as these AI videos continue to look even more life-like.
