Public Mobile Quietly Upgrades $15 and $19 Plans for Existing Users

Public Mobile has quietly updated its $15 and $19 monthly plans, offering more value—but only for existing customers.

The revised $15 plan, introduced on Friday, June 6, now includes 500MB of data, unlimited Canada-wide calling, and 100 international long-distance minutes to countries like China, India, Pakistan, the UK, and more.

Previously, the plan came with just 250MB of data and 100 minutes of domestic calling. Existing users currently on a $13 or $15 plan can upgrade by scheduling a plan change for their next renewal date. You are getting double the data, unlimited nationwide calling and 100 international minutes.

Public Mobile also upgraded its $19 plan to include 2GB of data, doubling the previous 1GB offering. This updated plan is only visible to customers already on a $19 or lower plan, and like the $15 plan, it requires a scheduled switch to take effect, says RFD.

These changes appear to be targeted at retaining current users, as the upgrades are not showing up for new subscribers. The public-facing $19 plan still lists only 1GB of data. No expiry date has been announced, so customers interested in locking in the improved options are encouraged to act soon.

We previously told you on Friday that Public Mobile launched a new $29/20GB 4GB plan. Right now, there’s a $25 referral bonus going on as well, but for a limited time.
