XP Game Summit 2025 Opens its Doors This Weekend for Toronto Video Game Month

As Toronto’s Video Game Month begins, XP Game Summit is prepped and ready to begin on June 13. The two-day industry event opens its doors once again, inviting developers, publishers, marketers and investors within the gaming industry to come together.
XP Game Summit is an annual B2B conference for professionals within the industry. This year, it’s said that over 300 companies and 17 publishers will be in attendance, supporting the growth of Canada’s competitive games industry. XP Game Summit is being held on June 13 and June 14 at the Hyatt Regency Toronto Hotel in the downtown core.
As part of ‘Toronto Games Week’ and the City of Toronto’s proclaimed Video Game Month celebration, which is expected to attract over 40,000 attendees in June, attendees can gather at the XP Game Summit. The two-day conference will host 44 sessions, panels, and workshops. The event’s programming is focusing on “business success in a competitive global market.” This includes discussions on publishing, funding, IP, production, and more. Speakers include leaders from Epic Games, Ubisoft, Riot Games, Finji, Telefilm Canada, Digital Extremes, Serenity Forge, Indie Asylum, and Xsolla, among others.
Here are a few of the panels that are being hosted:
- Fireside chat with Sheldon Carter, President, Digital Extremes
- We Created a Global Gaming IP – And So Can You
- Owning the Player Relationship: How Direct-to-Consumer is Reshaping Game Growth
- Mastering AI for Game Development – From “FGF” to Final Release
- The Audience Imperative: Building Live Time Value of Indie Game Companies
- It Takes a Village: Bringing Narrative to Disney Dreamlight Valley
- Moderate to Modify: Using AI and Psychology to Build Safer, Healthier Gaming Communities
XP Game Summit is also hosting over 40 games as part of its Indie Showcase. Attendees will have the chance to demo many of the games on the showroom floor. The event is also expanding its business matchmaking sessions and supporting community-focused events, such as the VIP Welcome Mixer and Indie Pitch Competition.
Registration is open now for XP Game Summit. A two-day conference pass is available starting at $399. More information can be found on the official website.
