TikTok’s 14 Million Canadian Users Are Getting AI-Driven Ads

TikTok is rolling out new tools to help brands in Canada tap into its massive user base of over 14 million people.

At its fourth annual 2025 TikTok World Canada summit in Toronto, the company announced a series of AI-driven features designed to make advertising more efficient and personalized.

One major update is the TikTok One Content Suite, a new system that lets advertisers quickly turn user-made videos into ads. These clips are pulled from a searchable database that’s already been ranked for how likely they are to perform well.

“We’re excited about the ways TikTok is building solutions for every stage of the marketing journey, aimed at empowering every business goal and turning attention into action,” notes Joshua Bloom, General Manager of Global Business Solutions at TikTok Canada, in a statement to iPhone in Canada on Tuesday. “Our team at TikTok Canada – and teams around the world – are listening to our partners so that we can develop innovative products for every stage of the marketing funnel. More than just an entertainment platform, TikTok is a strategic partner that fuels brand growth and drives real impact for businesses.”

Starting in July, TikTok will also begin testing its Branded Search Hub in Canada. This feature gives brands their own space within TikTok’s search results, where they can highlight videos, campaign stories, and content from creators. Data shows that users start a search within 30 seconds of opening TikTok.

TikTok’s AI tools, known as Symphony and Smart+, are also getting a boost. They’ll help advertisers automate more of their campaigns, personalize recommendations for users, and connect product catalogues directly to ad delivery.

The TikTok rabbit hole is real at night right before bed, and you’ll soon see ads created with the assistance of AI.
