NOMAD Leather Mag Wallet with Find My, MagSafe Now in Canada

Nomad has officially launched the Leather Mag Wallet in Canada. Designed for iPhone users, this MagSafe-compatible wallet securely snaps onto your device and includes built-in tracking through Apple’s Find My app—so if you ever misplace it, you can easily locate it.

Crafted from vegetable-tanned Horween leather and framed with polycarbonate, the Leather Mag Wallet holds between 1 to 4 standard credit cards. It uses an internal spring mechanism to keep cards snug and won’t demagnetize them. The ultra-slim design (96mm x 66mm x 9mm, weighing 47 grams) keeps bulk to a minimum.

What’s great about Find My integration is that the Leather Mag Wallet wirelessly recharges on any Qi or MagSafe charger and runs up to five months on a full charge. It doesn’t support Apple’s ultra wideband precision tracking, but you can still track it up to 150 feet away via the Find My app. Being able to recharge this means its use case lasts a lot longer and you don’t need to replace batteries.

The leather will scuff and mark with use but will gradually develop a rugged, rich patina. If you want a pristine finish, this may not be the right product—but if you’re into that aged leather look, it’s a great fit. Each wallet ships with a sample leather conditioner packet to help you get started on care.

Here’s a video of the Leather Mag Wallet in action:

The wallet works with any MagSafe-compatible case and is available now in Black or Rustic Brown, with duties and taxes included for Canadian buyers at $120. Not cheap, but Nomad makes some pretty nice leather goods for Apple users. In comparison, Apple’s FineWoven Wallet with MagSafe costs $79 in Canada, but does not include rechargeable Find My integration.
