Samsung has announced it will be hosting a Galaxy Unpacked event on July 9 at 10 AM ET/ 7 AM PT. In a published YouTube video on its official channels, the company sent out an invitation to the upcoming event.
In the video, we can see Samsung teasing a new device. The video continues with the words “Ultra Unfolds” appearing on screen, indicating that we may finally see the ‘Ultra’ style foldable developed by the company. This was first teased by the company earlier this month.
Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy Unpacked event will be taking place in Brooklyn, New York. However, the Galaxy Unpacked will be live-streamed for global audiences. The company is inviting eager customers to come to Galaxy Experience Spaces in NYC, London, and Paris following the event.

Samsung will be revealing a larger foldable device. The Ultra foldable will likely offer a larger screen to the Galaxy Z Fold series, with a vertical seam. This was also hinted at in Samsung’s original tease. The company also stated that the device will feature a “powerful camera.” However, there’s no word on whether the new foldable will include significant upgrades over its Galaxy S25 Ultra counterpart.
