Dyson’s De-NOx Series is a Major Upgrade for Air Purification, Available Now in Canada

This year, Dyson began rolling out its new De-NOx series of air purifiers, equipped with K-carbon filters to manage air purification and humidity better. Across five new units, Dyson’s De-NOx series is available in Canada, with devices starting as low as $649.
According to research cited by the British Safety Council, Dyson found that indoor air pollution can be up to five times higher than levels recorded outdoors. This can be especially true in more urban areas where traffic emissions and construction can impact pollutants, introducing higher levels of NO2. With NO2 as a greater concern, Dyson is tackling the issue with the new De-NOx range of purifiers.
Dyson’s new Purifier Cool PC1 and Purifier Hot+Cool HP2 both provide “advanced, multifunctional” air purification at varying costs. Ranging between $649 and $999, the devices can provide all-year-round thermal comfort while actively addressing concerns of air purification. Both purifiers offer 360-degree filtration technology and a fully-sealed HEPA filter that’s able to capture 99.97 percent of ultrafine particles. This includes NO2, VOCs, odours, gaseous particles, etc. The former provides cooling air while the Purifier Hot+Cool HP1 can offer both cooling and heating to your home.
Other devices in the new De-NOx series include the Dyson Purifier Cool PC2, Purifier Hot+Cool HP1, and Purifier Humidity+Cool. Each offers standard filtration as well as the ability to capture NO2.
Dyson’s effort to address NO2 pollutants is an important one. It’s been claimed that exposure to such pollutants can accelerate premature aging as well as impact eczema and dermatitis. The De-NOx range of units is developed to reduce exposure to these air pollutants. By doing so, users can be protected from environmental stressors, especially in urban areas like Toronto, Montreal, or Vancouver.
This major refresh to the air purification line follows after the company recently expanded to bring its Supersonic R hair dryer to Canada.

Dyson needs to fix their supply of air filters! I’ve been waiting months for a new air filter. This has been happening for years now 🙁
I was wondering about that. I’m sure these new filters are also going to be outrageous cost wise. I’ll hold off then. Thanks for letting us know about this.
